The Vector Program is involved in educating the
public in ways to control animals, which may be
sources of diseases or nuisances.  Additional
Vector control and nuisance information can be
provided by your Local Health Department upon
request.

Dress, Drain, Defend!
 

  • Dress: Wear light colored long sleeve shirts and pants.

  • Drain: Eliminate all standing water where mosquitoes breed such as bird baths, tires, buckets, and gutters

  • Defend: Use an insect repellent at all times during outdoor activities.
