Syringe Exchange Program

What is it?

Syringe exchange is a completely FREE, CONFIDENTIAL program specifically designed for people who inject drugs to exchange dirty needles for clean.

What else does the program provide?

  • HEP C and HIV testing
  • Distribution of proper sharps containers for future use
  • Educational materials, counseling, and referrals
  • Safer sex and wound care supplies
  • Narcan- overdose reversal kits
  • Fentanyl and Xylazine test strips

What are the benefits?

  • Reduces the spread of infectious diseases such as HIV and Hepatitis C
  • Links participants to treatment and health care
  • Provides safe needle disposal
  • Saves lives
